As promised, time now to tell you more about your Villas for 2 holiday in Abruzzo. Actually, thanks to all the responses prompted by the original 'About Villas for 2' post, the agenda for 'More About Villas for 2' has pretty much set itself.

Are you accepting bookings ?
Because of the refurbishments we're carrying out, we don't plan to be open for business before Autumn 2008. Until we're absolutely sure when the work will be finished, we prefer to keep things as loose as we're currently doing. That said, bookmark our site and check back often, because we're looking to announce an opening date sometime this Spring, when we'll have some terrific money-saving early-bird offers up for grabs.

Villas for 2 ? Hmmm. What about families and kids ?
We've specifically designed Villas for 2 to provide Italian holidays for couples only. Or for two friends sharing. In our experience, you're spoiled for choice with holidays for families and kids. Less so if you're looking for a low-key, laid-back and civilised vacation just for the two of you. Villas for 2 offers just that. Holidays for two. Holidays without kids. Holidays for grown-ups only.

Anything else ?
Plenty. In addition to holidays for two and holidays without kids, we should also add 'Holidays without smoke', because Villas for 2 is a total no-smoking zone, inside and outside. And what about 'Holidays without crowds' as well ? We have just four villas, each accommodating just two people. So you'll never be exactly jostling for space. And there's a sunbed by the pool for everyone, so no getting up at dawn to grab one !

It's our genuine belief that this part of Abruzzo's Chieti province is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled parts of Italy. So much so in fact, that we've put our money where our mouth is. Villas for 2 is not only our business – it's our home. We're permanently based right here – not in an office hundreds of miles away and closed at weekends. So we're instantly accessible should you need us. And Villas for 2 is our business. We own no other rental properties and we're completely  independent – not a tiny link in a big villa rental chain. 

So in a nutshell then…

• …plus a few of life's little necessities, including our organic, unfiltered olive oil. Even WiFi !
