Former BBC Television presenter David Brenner and his wife Pauline today launched their new holiday villa rental company Villasfor2.
Set in the tiny hamlet of Cinonni in the region of Abruzzo on Italy’s Adriatic coast, Villasfor2 comprises three holiday rental villas, each designed for just two people.
‘Villasfor2 is exclusively for couples and friends only,’ explains David. ‘There’s plenty of choice for families and groups on the holiday villa rental market, but until now, couples and friends have tended to be overlooked. In setting-up Villasfor2, we’re going to redress that balance’
David and Pauline teamed-up with local architect Gianmarco Poli to design and build not only three brand-new Abruzzo holiday rental villas, but also their own home.
‘We were lucky enough to find a wonderful plot of about an acre here in Abruzzo,’ says Pauline, ‘so there was plenty of room for the three villas; our home; and a swimming pool too. And Gianmarco’s done a fantastic job of designing it all in traditional local style so it blends in beautifully with the landscape.
‘We intend keeping Villasfor2 laid-back and relaxed,’ continues Pauline. ‘With only six guests at any one time, it’s never going to get crowded !’
David and Pauline will be welcoming their first guests to their Abruzzo holiday rental villas in early May. To celebrate the launch of Villasfor2, they’ve lined-up some tempting opening offers which are detailed on the www.villasfor2.com website.
