The first thing to mention is the breathtaking views on arrival .... and we were no less take with the villas themselves once inside.
The attention to detail, the cleanliness and the little extras provided were just perfect, making it feel home from home within an hour of arrival.
The pool area was gorgeous, overlooking the olive groves and the surrounding hills, it felt as if we were sitting in our own little haven of peace and tranquility.
David and Pauline, the owners, couldn't have been more helpful, even down the the excellent directions from the airport which even gave us tips on how to avoid the car hire queues - which worked! They had an infinite knowledge of the local area and what to see and what not to see and were happy to share this with us. They knew and helped us book some excellent restaurants, and even invited us to join them at their local village festa.
All in all it was a lovely holiday and one I'd definitely repeat.

Ein hideaway für Romantiker und Naturliebhaber in einer unberührten Gegend Italiens. Wir hatten Villa La Majelletta für 9 Tage gebucht und verbrachten dort eine wunderbare Zeit!! Nach unserer Ankunft unternahm David mit uns eine kl. Rundtour, um uns wichtige Stationen persönlich zu zeigen (Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Geldautomat, nächstes Restaurant). Für die Orientierung in dieser Gegend eine hervorragende Lösung. Unsere Unterkunft war schick, picobello sauber, entsprach genau den Fotos, ist gut konzipiert und ausgestattet. Der gepflegte Pool - unser persönliches Highlight - eine wahre Pracht mit einem fantastischen Blick in die weitläufige Landschaft. David und Pauline, wirklich sehr angenehme Gastgeber, waren immer für uns ansprechbar und unterstützten mit Wegbeschreibungen, Restaurantreservierungen (alle superlecker!!), ausgezeichnetem Wein und Olivenöl. Die Gegend ist ruhig und ländlich, abseits der üblichen Touristenströme; in gut einer Autostunde ist man im Nationalpark, in 25 Min. am Meer. Wir waren MIT ALLEM !!! rundum zufrieden und empfehlen Villasfor2 guten Gewissens allen Interessierten sehr gerne weiter. Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüßen

(A hideaway for romantics and nature lovers in an unspoilt area of Italy. We booked Villa La Majelletta for 9 days and spent a wonderful time! After our arrival, David took us on a small. Round trip, to show us the important stages in person (supermarket, gas station, ATM, the nearest restaurant). For guidance in this area an excellent solution. Our accommodation was stylish, spotlessly clean, corresponded exactly to the photographs, is well designed and equipped. The well-kept pool - our personal highlight - a real beauty with a fantastic view of the pastoral landscape. David and Pauline, were really very pleasant hosts, always responsive to us and helped with directions, restaurant reservations (all super yummy!), Excellent wine and olive oil. The area is quiet and rural, off the beaten tourist track, in about an hour you are in the National Park, on the sea in 25 minutes. We were NEAR EVERYTHING! Villasfor2 completely satisfied us and we can recommend anyone interested with a clear conscience as we continue to be very happy. Many thanks and kind regards !)

Well, perhaps the best comment I can make is that my husband and I have been married for 13 years and this is the first holiday destination we have ever returned to... I think that probably says it all really. This is our second visit and we were not disappointed! We love Abruzzo, the people, the food, the countryside - it's all lovely. The villa is clean, in excellent condition and fitted with all those little extras you really appreciate - like a bottle of wine on your arrival! David and Pauline are fab hosts who really can't do enough to make your stay just as you like it! The surrounding area is quite untouched by tourism making it a delightful place to discover and we enjoyed returning to places we went last year and visiting new ones. We have in the past and will continue to regularly recommend this holiday to friends and family. Thanks to David and Pauline for all their efforts! You are stars!

Both having extremely busy jobs and lives, my partner and I needed a complete rest and we certainly had this. The villas are just as they are described with everything required for a perfect stay, even down to the umbrella and re-usable shopping bag. The villa was very comfortable and the welcome passage including chilled wine and beer was just what we wanted after a hot drive. David and Pauline could not have been more friendly and helpful. David has a very comprehensive knowledge of things to do in the area and good, detailed instructions of how to get there; superb restaurants and festivals within easy reach. We shall definately be back next year to sit on the terrace in the silence, drinking wine and looking at the stars. An excellent holiday choice.

Wij zijn begin augustus 2011 in Casoli geweest. Na een lange autorit en voor ons een moeilijk leesbare routebeschrijving bracht TOMTOM ons bijna voor de deur van het appartement Majeletta. De vermoeidheid van de rit viel direct van onze schouders nadat wij vriendelijk ontvangen werden en konden genieten van de rust het prachtige uitzicht en het schone modern en smaakvol ingerichte appartement. Wat ons opviel was met welke zorg David zijn gasten tegemoed trad. B.V. de volgende dag even meerijden naar de supermarkt, goedkope tankstation en bankautomaat. Ook zijn kennis van de omgeving was voor ons erg prettig, zeker wanneer je daar wat van wil zien. Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad en gaan zeker nog een keer terug.

(We were in Casoli in mid-August 2011. TOMTOM brought us almost to the door of the Villa Majeletta. We were well received and enjoyed the tranquility of the beautiful views and the clean modern and tastefully furnished apartment. What struck us was the care with guests David and Pauline performed. The next day, take a ride with him to the grocery store, cheap gas station and ATM. His knowledge of the area was very useful for us, especially when you want to travel around. We have a great time and will definitely go back.)

On arrival at the villa our first impressions well exceeded our already very high expectations. David and Pauline greeted us in a most friendly manner and showed us to our villa. The 'guided tour' was professional and yet friendly and as a result we very confidently settled in and unpacked. Within half an hour we were enjoying a glass of Abruzzo vino rosso by the pool and the holiday had started. The villa is extremely well appointed and was finished to the highest standards, including the excellent shower room and mezzanine bedroom, the view from which is outstanding (Our first morning greeted us with a wonderful rosy dawn over the distant mountains).
The terrace is lovely and provided a great place for lunch and eating out at night. We balanced eating in with meals out at some of the lovely ristoranti in the locality. There is really something for every taste and, as the area is not touristically developed, the quality is outstanding and the prices very reasonable (two courses and a litre of vino rosso was approx 30 euros for 2).
David and Pauline offer discrete support in terms of information, directions to places and bookings for restaurants.
The peace and quiet is exquisite and it is possible to while away the hours watching the kites who nest in the nearby trees or the golden eagles that soar high above the ground. The gentle breeze ensures that the temperature does not rise to stifling levels.
The pool is lovely and provides a great opportunity to cool down. Given that there is a maximum of six people around the pool the setting is idyllic.
We have never returned to a place but the fact that we rebooked whilst on our holiday serves as a testament to our views of this fantastic place where the batteries can be fully recharged in this lovely part of this wonderful country.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Een prima en comfortabel villa met prachtig uitzicht op het Italiaanse boerenland, de heuvels en bergen. Alles was prima schoon en goed verzorgd met veel informatie over de omgeving. Abruzzo is een provincie met veel ongerepte natuur en mooie plaatsjes. Wij (echtpaar 59 en 64 jaar) hebben ons hier prima vermaakt.
(Friendly reception. An excellent and comfortable villa with stunning views of the Italian farmland, hills and mountains. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained with lots of information about the area. Abruzzo is a province with lots of unspoiled nature and beautiful places. We (couple 59 and 64 years) had a good time here.)

Just had a fantastic week. The villas are absolutely spotless and the views are to die for. The peace & quiet was heaven.
David was most helpful in everything even getting us some chilly powder we 4got for our pasta we cooked and ate while overlooking the fantastic views. If you want a great holiday then this is the place to come.

The property is in a beautiful hillside location with great views all around. The immediate area is very quiet - a perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful, restful holiday.
The swimming pool is in an idyllic position. Bird lovers would delight in watching alpine swifts swooping over the pool and drinking the water, and red kites circling overhead.
Overall we were delighted with our holiday at Villasfor2 and we will most certainly visit again at some point in the future. We will also recommend the property to our friends.

Voor een ieder die een verblijf in Villasfor2 overweegt kan ik alleen maar zeggen DOEN!.
David & Pauline zijn geweldig gastvrij waardoor je je echt welkom voelt.
Weten heel veel van de omgeving en hebben leuke tips voor uitstapjes en restaurant bezoekjes etc.
De locatie is een geweldige uitvalsbasis voor zowel het berggebied als voor het strand.
In het sfeervol ingerichte appartement ontbreekt het je werkelijk aan niets.
Het uitzicht vanaf je terras is geweldig... en als je s'avonds de gordijnen openlaat van de vide val je (met een beetje geluk)onder een deken van sterren in slaap.
Dus voor een onvergetelijke vakantie is Villasfor2 werkelijk een droomlocatie.
(For anyone considering staying at Villasfor2, I can only say DO!.
David & Pauline are great hosts and make you feel really welcome.
They know a lot about the local area and have great tips for trips and restaurant visits, etc.
The location is a great base for both the mountains and the beach.
In the cozy furnished villa you lack for nothing.
The view from your terrace is great ... at night, if you leave the curtains open, you'll fall asleep (with luck) under a blanket of stars.
Villasfor2 is an unforgettable holiday in a truly dream location.)

We'd watched the videos on the Villasfor2 website before out arrival and thought we had a pretty good idea of what to expect, but as it turned out, the reality is even better.
No photos or videos can do justice to the views. Away to your left is the sea; to your right, the mountains and in between are incredible far-reaching vistas. Sitting outside our villa in the late afternoon with a cool glass of wine just taking it all in became a major pleasure.
Our villa itself was very clean and comfortable, perfect for two and well-appointed with lots of nice little touches like wine on our arrival, plenty of books and all the basic necessities like tea, coffee and sugar.
Although we mostly ate in our villa, when we did eat out, we found it extremely good value. Couldn't even begin to spell the name of the pizzeria recommended by our hosts David and Pauline, but that was great, as were the local bar at lunchtime and Paulo's restaurant nearby. David and Pauline were endlessly helpful with suggestions, directions and bookings for wherever we wanted to go.
And the jewel in the crown was the pool, with excellent sunbeds and umbrellas and again those fantastic views.
We couldn't fault any aspect of our stay here and if you're looking for peace and quiet, a great location and comfortable surroundings for your holiday, you'll love it here too !

We could not imagine what we would find when we came to Abruzzo, but dream the Italian dream and pinch yourself - this is exactly what we found! The Villas are superbly situated with the most magnificent views, and the pool is perfectly placed.
We couldn't fault the Villa, which had everything we needed for a simple lifestyle - corkscrew, fridge, wine glasses, patio with umbrella - and the bed was very comfortable! Everything was in excellent order, and anything that went awry was dealt with promptly.
David and Pauline are excellent hosts, always ready with recommendations and directions, booking restaurants for us, and suggesting trips out, but not at all intrusive. You do need a car here though as nothing is within walking distance.
The local people are a delight, and despite our lack of Italian and their lack of English, we managed to communicate with the friendly locals.
We explored the local hilltop towns and surrounding areas nearly every day, and came back in the evenings to chill out! There are no sounds besides the birds, and bees, and that is how we like things - quiet! The fact that there are only three Villas and therefore no more than six people staying at any one time, and no children are allowed, was exactly what drew us to stay here in the first place.
We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this area for anyone wanting to find the real Italy, but the steep garden and the stairs make it unsuitable for disabled people.

Great place. Easy to book over the phone and easy to find thanks to excellent directions. We loved the peace and quiet and beautiful views. Our villa was very comfortable and fitted-out with great attention to detail. The area really is off the general tourist track - a plus point for us. A lovely, relaxing break from the UK grind. Abruzzo is een heerlijk - en nog ongekende - streek, de mensen zijn vriendelijk, de natuur adembenemend! Ryanair vliegt goedkoop van Charleroi tot Pescara. Ik kan de andere reviews gelijk geven: Villas for 2 is een heerlijke plaats om een verblijf dicht bij de natuur onvergetelijk te maken! Warm aanbevolen!
(Abruzzo is a wonderful - and unprecedented - region, the people are friendly, the nature is breathtaking! Ryanair flies from Charleroi to Pescara cheaply. I can well understand the other reviews: Villas for 2 is a wonderful place to stay close to nature and unforgettable! Check it out!)

Our first trip to Abruzzo looking at property and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. Weather wasn't great, but our villa was warm, cosy, comfortable and very well-equipped with thoughtful touches like wine, tea and coffee. Lots of very useful info too about the local area. The recomended restaurants were really good. Owners David and Pauline very helpful with their contacts and advice. A good start to our search of the area and we'd definitely stay here again.

There is a saying 'It does what it says on the tin...' this far exceeds anything the brochure says. Beautiful setting, clean, lovely villa perfectly furnished and equipped, and Hosts for which nothing is too much trouble. Information so clear and concise that even I could understand it! Don't bother looking for any other wine than that obtained from David and Pauline! In fact, don't even bother looking for any other villa - you won't find better.
We'd highly recommend this to any couple looking for peace, beauty, good food and breathtaking scenery. Words cannot adequately describe this place - just try it for yourselves. We'll be back!!!!

David & Pauline are great hosts and make you feel really welcome.
They know a lot about the local area and have great tips for trips and restaurant visits, etc.
The location is a great base for both the mountains and the beach.
In the cozy furnished villa you lack for nothing.
The view from your terrace is great ... at night, if you leave the curtains open, you'll fall asleep (with luck) under a blanket of stars.
Villasfor2 is an unforgettable holiday in a truly dream location.)

We'd watched the videos on the Villasfor2 website before out arrival and thought we had a pretty good idea of what to expect, but as it turned out, the reality is even better.
No photos or videos can do justice to the views. Away to your left is the sea; to your right, the mountains and in between are incredible far-reaching vistas. Sitting outside our villa in the late afternoon with a cool glass of wine just taking it all in became a major pleasure.
Our villa itself was very clean and comfortable, perfect for two and well-appointed with lots of nice little touches like wine on our arrival, plenty of books and all the basic necessities like tea, coffee and sugar.
Although we mostly ate in our villa, when we did eat out, we found it extremely good value. Couldn't even begin to spell the name of the pizzeria recommended by our hosts David and Pauline, but that was great, as were the local bar at lunchtime and Paulo's restaurant nearby. David and Pauline were endlessly helpful with suggestions, directions and bookings for wherever we wanted to go.
And the jewel in the crown was the pool, with excellent sunbeds and umbrellas and again those fantastic views.
We couldn't fault any aspect of our stay here and if you're looking for peace and quiet, a great location and comfortable surroundings for your holiday, you'll love it here too !

We could not imagine what we would find when we came to Abruzzo, but dream the Italian dream and pinch yourself - this is exactly what we found! The Villas are superbly situated with the most magnificent views, and the pool is perfectly placed.
We couldn't fault the Villa, which had everything we needed for a simple lifestyle - corkscrew, fridge, wine glasses, patio with umbrella - and the bed was very comfortable! Everything was in excellent order, and anything that went awry was dealt with promptly.
David and Pauline are excellent hosts, always ready with recommendations and directions, booking restaurants for us, and suggesting trips out, but not at all intrusive. You do need a car here though as nothing is within walking distance.
The local people are a delight, and despite our lack of Italian and their lack of English, we managed to communicate with the friendly locals.
We explored the local hilltop towns and surrounding areas nearly every day, and came back in the evenings to chill out! There are no sounds besides the birds, and bees, and that is how we like things - quiet! The fact that there are only three Villas and therefore no more than six people staying at any one time, and no children are allowed, was exactly what drew us to stay here in the first place.
We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this area for anyone wanting to find the real Italy, but the steep garden and the stairs make it unsuitable for disabled people.

Great place. Easy to book over the phone and easy to find thanks to excellent directions. We loved the peace and quiet and beautiful views. Our villa was very comfortable and fitted-out with great attention to detail. The area really is off the general tourist track - a plus point for us. A lovely, relaxing break from the UK grind. Abruzzo is een heerlijk - en nog ongekende - streek, de mensen zijn vriendelijk, de natuur adembenemend! Ryanair vliegt goedkoop van Charleroi tot Pescara. Ik kan de andere reviews gelijk geven: Villas for 2 is een heerlijke plaats om een verblijf dicht bij de natuur onvergetelijk te maken! Warm aanbevolen!
(Abruzzo is a wonderful - and unprecedented - region, the people are friendly, the nature is breathtaking! Ryanair flies from Charleroi to Pescara cheaply. I can well understand the other reviews: Villas for 2 is a wonderful place to stay close to nature and unforgettable! Check it out!)

Our first trip to Abruzzo looking at property and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. Weather wasn't great, but our villa was warm, cosy, comfortable and very well-equipped with thoughtful touches like wine, tea and coffee. Lots of very useful info too about the local area. The recomended restaurants were really good. Owners David and Pauline very helpful with their contacts and advice. A good start to our search of the area and we'd definitely stay here again.

There is a saying 'It does what it says on the tin...' this far exceeds anything the brochure says. Beautiful setting, clean, lovely villa perfectly furnished and equipped, and Hosts for which nothing is too much trouble. Information so clear and concise that even I could understand it! Don't bother looking for any other wine than that obtained from David and Pauline! In fact, don't even bother looking for any other villa - you won't find better.
We'd highly recommend this to any couple looking for peace, beauty, good food and breathtaking scenery. Words cannot adequately describe this place - just try it for yourselves. We'll be back!!!!
