A few steps away from your Abruzzo villa is the swimming pool, bordered by olive trees, with another big sun-terrace – plus sunbeds and yet more umbrellas. Enough for everyone !
The views across the pool are spectacular. Miles of unspoiled Abruzzo countryside ringed by mountains on the distant horizon. The perfect setting for your Italian holiday.
Because we use the same supplier, our poolside sunbeds and umbrellas are the ones you'll find at all the big marinas and lidos along our stretch of the Adriatic coast. (But without Italian holiday crowds !)
Our poolside sunbeds are top commercial quality and extremely comfortable, while their unique open-weave fabric design means you can use them literally within minutes after even the heaviest rain shower.
Open from late-May to late September, our pool has an advanced salt-water purification system: so much kinder to your eyes, skin, hair – and sense of smell - than old-fashioned chlorine.
Thanks to a highly-sophisticated, computerised monitoring system, the ph balance of the water is maintained at a constant level of between 7.3 and 7.6.
Water temperature of the swimming pool in summer is around 28°C/82°F. There's a thermometer tied to the steps so you can check !
Incidentally, at dusk in summer you'll find yourself sharing the pool with Alpine Swifts, which spend the days soaring over the Abruzzo countryside - and who've come to regard the pool as their own private watering hole !
