Abruzzo Painting Holidays at Villasfor2
Somewhere new for an Italian painting holiday, away from the crowds of Tuscany, Rome and Venice. in glorious, unspoiled Abruzzo countryside.
On Saturday 12 September, Villasfor2 – the Italian villa rental destination excusively for couples and friends – hosts its first Abruzzo painting holiday under the expert guidance of local English artists Ruth Cantlay Holland.
The week-long holiday for just six people will offer a matchless opportunity to paint and sketch with Ruth in unspoiled Abruzzo countryside, from the mountains of the Majella National Park to the coast, with its unique trabocco fishing platforms.
Villasfor2's Abruzzo painting holiday is open to artists of all standards, from absolute beginners to experienced water-colourists. And with just six people in the group, there'll be plenty of time to talk to Ruth receive her expert help and guidance.
Guests will stay at Villasfor2 on the fringes of the Majella National Park in one of three self-catering villas, each designed for just two people, with glorious views – and a swimming pool.
The Abruzzo painting holiday at Villasfor2 costs €674 per person and covers accommodation; tuition and advice from Ruth Cantlay Holland; delicious, home-made picnic lunches delivered to painting field trips; and special meals at two local trattorie to mark the start and end of the holiday.
