About Us

Hello. We’re David and Pauline Brenner and we run Villasfor2 in Abruzzo, Italy.

We’re both English and lived in Somerset before relocating lock, stock and three cats to Abruzzo in October 2007.

David was a journalist and a television presenter with the BBC; Pauline formerly worked in IT.

"I've had this idea..."

I think our decision to move to Italy was taken on Milennium Night.

Moving to Italy and starting Villasfor2 seemed like a good idea at the time.

Strangely enough, it still seemed like a good idea the next day.

We made our first cautious Italian property search - of Tuscany: where else ? – in 2004. Then Umbria. Then Le Marche.

Hmm..

We got our first glimpse of Abruzzo in the autumn of 2006 and finally stumbled upon what was to become our own little piece of Italy in May 2007.

Your Holiday. Our Home

Villasfor2 isn’t just our business – it’s our home too.

We’re permanently-based here, not in some office hundreds of miles away that’s closed evenings and weekends.

So you don’t have to worry about absentee owners, or rely on someone turning up with a key to let you in when you arrive.

And if a lightbulb goes, you won't have to spend half the day on the phone trying to get another one. Just come and ask us.

We don't own any other rental properties and we’re completely independent too – not a tiny link in some great big villa rental chain.
